STATION was developed in response to a brief created in collaboration with Art Monthly, the UK’s leading magazine of contemporary visual art, on the occasion of its 50th anniversary.


DISPATCH FROM THE STATION (LIVE)
Our situational podcast surfaced as a discursive format during our March Assembly, a gathering which functioned as a live rehearsal space for the articulation of our research in relation to the practice of artist Lynn Lu. This podcast evolved into a second episode, which captured a conversation among us as curators to explore our research, which led to the conceptual proposition of STATION. 

During Show2026, several live podcast episodes will be recorded. The first is with Raheel Khan (Thursday 18 June 12:30–14:00), which will be a live discussion of the research and concepts underpinning his practice, following his deep listening session. 

On 20 and 21 June, we will hand over STATION to the other six CCA curating groups, inviting each to record and broadcast the concerns, processes and interests that underpin their projects. These conversations will draw out shared and diverging positions. The distribution of our curatorial authority allows us to consider the role of hosting as a generative tool for knowledge production and exchange.
